We pride ourselves on our standards of work, behaviour and citizenship. We feel that having a school uniform contributes to our standards, as it gives the children a sense of shared responsibility, shared identity and a pride in their school. We are also clearly identifiable on out-of-school trips and our children’s excellent conduct is regularly commented upon.

We ask for your support with maintaining this.

You can order similar uniform from other retailers and also second-hand sales. Some sales of pre-loved uniform are organised by our parents.

If you experience difficulties paying the full cost of a uniform, please see Mrs Walker, as we have a stock of used uniform in a good condition.

Winter uniform

  • Black/grey/blue skirt or grey/black/blue trousers or grey/blue pinafore dress. (Required)
  • Red aertex shirt with school logo (Required)
  • Navy blue cardigan or sweatshirt with/without school logo. Navy fleeces may also be worn indoors during colder months, again, with/without the school logo. (Required)
  • Shoes: Black or blue flat shoes or black plimsolls or trainers (Required)
  • Tights or socks (Required)

Summer uniform

  • Red and white or blue and white checked summer dress or black/grey pinafore, or skirt or grey/black/blue shorts or trousers. (Required)
  • Red aertex shirt with school logo (Required)
  • Navy blue cardigan/sweatshirt with school logo (Optional in the summer)
  • Shoes: Black or blue flat shoes or sandals or plimsolls or trainers (Required)
  • Socks. (Optional) Bare feet may be worn with sensible sandals when very hot. Leggings may be worn under dresses: black, blue or red. (Optional)
  • Summer hat (outdoors) (Optional)

PE and outdoor clothing

  • Fleece for outside which can be worn as a jacket or for PE (Optional)
  • Track suit bottoms to wear over shorts during the cold weather or under skirts to walk to school during the winter months. Black or blue please. (Optional)
  • Round neck t-shirt (in house colours) with/without school logo. No brand names please. (Required)
  • Navy blue/black shorts or skirts. (Required)
  • Trainers (Required)
  • A pair of wellies (to remain in school all the time)
  • A lightweight waterproof jacket OR waterproof all-in-one (to remain in school all the time)

Long hair i.e. hair that reaches the shoulders, should be tied back.

N.B. All the above uniform items are available from Mapac, along with labelled Book Bag, Hats, Coats, PE bags, Water Bottles, all featuring the school logo. You can purchase from other suppliers without the logo or from second-hand retailers.

General FAQs

We would like the children to stick to natural hair colours please.

There is no regulation with regard to choice of coats.

Pupils should not wear jewellery, except for small stud earrings (which must be removed or taped for PE and covered by swimming hats whilst swimming), a simple watch, or approved religious items.

Nail varnish is discouraged, for health and safety reasons.
